Since 1937, Luthers means quality design and creation of custom marine tanks and hardware to surpass customer needs.

Luthers marine tanks are custom built using marine aluminum, stainless steel or steel alloys.

All marine tanks are fabricated with the correct baffles, fittings and sending units, to your specifications, and meet or exceed US Coast Guard standards.

We manufacture marine fuel tanks, marine diesel tanks, sewage, holding and water tanks for your boating needs. We also build custom tanks made of aluminum or stainless steel for cars, trucks, recreational and racing vehicles.

We have been building marine fuel and water tanks for over 20 years. Luthers Welding has a reputation for quality, workmanship and customer service that we is known throughout the marine industry. We have the expertise to meet your marine fabrication and design needs. We began as a small welding shop in 1937. In 1971 we became incorporated and two years later began specializing in the Marine Industry. All of our marine tanks are built and tested to the American Boat & Yacht Council and Coast Guard regulations. We take pride in our ability to manufacture our tanks and other marine hardware to accommodate the needs of our customers.

Luthers Welding can also provide you with after market replacement sending units, custom and auxillary pick-up tubes and various tank parts (contact us for pricing). We can provide site gauges, return fittings and inspection plates upon request.

We offer pricing options for bulk purchases, and can arrange dedicated shipping containers for multiple tanks for cost savings.

Warranty

Luthers fuel tanks carry a one-year warranty from the date of first consumer sale by Luthers or any authorized dealer against defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty is voided if the tank is not properly installed, is used in a manner other than that for which the tank was intended, and/or in any case where unauthorized repair work, or modification has been done on the tank. This warranty applies to the person who originally purchases the fuel tank and is not transferable.

The customer must provide the serial # of the tank so that determination can be made if the tank is under warranty. If the tank was sold to a dealer, the date the dealer sold it to the customer is also needed. If the tank is covered under warranty, instructions will be given as to how the tank will be returned to Luthers. The tank may be repaired, replaced or another reasonable course of action taken by Luthers. It is at the sole discretion of Luthers to determine which course of action will be taken to fulfill the obligations of the warranty.

NOTE: Luthers will not pay for, or reimburse the cost of repair work or other labor (including labor costs for the removal of the tank) unless prior authorization is received from Luthers.
